Fathers Day!

Forgot to share this one.  This was in a La Pashe kit I've had for ages and I think was one of those things you save 'for best' which is why I've never used it - now I have!

It's very suitable for my father in law who is a huge footy fan.

There was quite a lot of cutting out in it - one of those things you wish you had't started - but I'm really pleased with the result.

Maybe I should use the other images in the pack now!

A racing birthday

A quick addition today - seem to be able to add a watermark now.  Needs a little perfecting and fine-tuning but we have passed phase 1!

This was another request for an Alonso/Ferrari 6 year old fan.

I found the background picture of Silverstone on the internet and added it to an  A5 card.

The other 2 pics were 'stolen' too but I have printed each of them twice and added the second layer with 3D foam pads to make them stand out.

Computer generated sentiment layered to finish.

Apparently it was William's favourite birthday card!

Mass production

A couple of days of Mr Blogger giving me the run around there - entirely his fault for not posting for over a week I'm sure!

While on hols recently I did pack a few crafty items to play with (always go away optimistically with thoughts of doing many a thing, never quite pans out).

Turns out hiking up some of the highest points in the country isn't conducive to staying awake in the evening but I did manage a couple of evenings of seeing how many sticky pads I could get through and have had another go this week whilst building up to tidying my mess so I can actually make a Christmas card before the big day.

These are all die-cut images - I used to tell people off for cheating but these have been quite popular sellers in between the more time consuming cards - from a selection of Tatty Teddy, Forever Friends & Fizzy Moon. Couldn't believe I have 40 pyramage & 3D images ready to turn in to cards, seems a little optimistic now!

Blogging is back (already!)

Aha - a bit of playtime and I've managed to do some stuff - genius!
I usually scan my cards in but made one the other day when we were in between technology so this is a photo taken rather late at night.

It was a card for a colleague's relation who is nearly 2. The Noddy design is a sheet of wrapping paper which I matted for the bottom layer, then cut a second image, stuck it on card and cut round it and sticky padded it for a 3D effect. A few peel off balloons to complete made it quite a cheery card.

I have a few requests in the offing, think the only thing stopping me now is too much playing on the Mac finding all the things it can do!
