A similar, but slightly different, card to one from a recent post.
I had enough brown quilling paper left for another pot - I must have more in the house but didn't have any to hand so decided to make one pot a feature of this card which was for a Crafty Bunch birthday.
Flowers made from the kit from JJ Quilling. I have mounted the pot & flowers on some X-Cut dies and some matching pearly paper which are all layered on to a lovely shaped card from Craftwork Cards.
Some Anita's gems added in the corners and an SU stamped sentiment punched out and mounted on further SU punched labels.
I am now off to glitter the ongoing card that I might post soon!

Sunflowers
Well, what a strange week! Apologies for lack of posting I have been busy but also a bit dazed as I agreed to move to a new job last Thursday and moved today - it still all seems a bit sudden and weird!Anyway, I did manage to make this cheery card the other day. It is using the new papermania 'build a sunflower' stamp set. Each set of petals are stamped a couple of times so it builds up a nice flower. The check paper is from a previous papermania set.
Added some anitas gems in the cut out corners for a bit of sparkle too. The ribbon came with the paper in a goody bag, along with the buttons which I've tied a little bit of co-ordinating thread through. The yellow card used for layering is from my stash.
Will be back with blogging more regularly now hopefully. Had this evening off as a treat after an emotional and stressful week and drank red wine and ate chocs - it's been great!
For any Crafty Bunchers also reading this I am doing my bit by buying Mr Kipling apple pies (8 for the price of 6 - £1.25) this week in Morrisons! I look forward to however we are going to use the foil trays!
27 August 2009

Not made as many cards this week but made this for my friends birthday.
It is on a 7.5" square card which is a fab size for something a bit different.
It was made with a selection of pieces from the very yummy craftwork cards goody bag - so many great sayings I didn't know which one to pick!
I added a little punched flower to the centre of the spotty flowers before adding the central card candy.
I also finished off by adding some tiny Anita's gems for a spot of glitz!
