Christmas Tree Bubble Blooms

So, I always seem to be apologising on here.  After my blog had a meltdown I've been so busy doing samples for various talks, workshops & demos I haven't quite got on top of things.

The owl on the last post was a digi image I found on line as I didn't have any halloween stamps.  A copic group I belong to on Facebook had a challenge and I coloured it to make myself use my copics which have been a little neglected recently.

Anyway, today I have another great Woodware stamp called Bubble Blooms - Festive Tree.

For this sample I have used various shades of purple quilling paper in a selection of 2mm & 3mm to make solid and open coils to fill the 'bubbles'.

I'm working on a couple more where I've added some stickles in the circles and then will do one with card candi too.

There are many things to be done with the tree - it's a very versatile little stamp!

  1. Gorgeous card Jill. Love how you've used quilling in the bubbles........genius!

  2. Love this - it certainly looks like a very useful stamp which I might NEED

  3. Love this card Jill, it would fi the challenge this week at http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/ a Christmas card with no green or red.
