Thanks to Tracy for sharing this project before Christmas - once on my blog though it became fair game for a project at Crafty Bunch which is what we did last week.
I'm afraid my samples were all really quick due to time constraints but it shows what an easy project it is and how effective even a quick decoration of the bag can be - as proven by some doubters last week that had little faith in being able to make one of these! (they did of course).
Mr Blogger seems to be giving me the runaround now so I will add more pics tomorrow of my other samples.

For now I managed to make a card for our Wedding Anniversary this week.
I do love these owls and had been playing with them for something else so have recreated this card again.
Mainly using Stampin' Up colours and card (but not 100%).
Background is SU naturals white and I have used baked brown sugar, early espresso and some of the designer series paper in real red for the owls chests.
So cute!
A commission today that I rather like so I might be making some more!
This is an A5 card, the base card is kraft card.
I've added a piece of white using an SU border punch.
Typically I was going to print the sentiment but needed to do this whilst my printer was having some down time (pleased to report my Canon had a year warranty and as I've only had it 6 months Argos exchanged it for a new one - hurrah!).
Luckily I found this stamp in the stash with the words I wanted so I stamped them in brown ink and punched out with SU punches.
I've then stamped the larger flowers from SU Flower Shop set in some lovely bright colours and in the same ink a little flower from a now discontinued SU set called Punch Potpourri which, you've guessed it, matches the Boho Blossoms punch!
I've then added a little pearl to finish and hey presto!
And today it is the turn of Sue from Crafty Bunch to celebrate a birthday.
Sue lives in the lovely village of East Coker where we meet and opens her garden for the National Gardens Scheme. When I went last year I sneakily took a picture and am very impressed I've remembered I had planned to use it for this card!
This is an 8x8" card which might be why I confused DOCrafts Digital Designer in printing it out as the 5 sections aren't spaced evenly - but I didn't notice until I came to stick it down and this was after my printer had gone through an 'episode' which has resulted in several days of no printing, so at least I have some pictures.
The layers only just show on the pic but do have 3D pads between them which makes a little more of it than a flat picture.
Sentiment is a new set (to me) called Perfectly Penned from Stampin' Up (of course) as are the petite petal flowers (with matching punch). Leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch.
At least this card should surprise Sue if nothing else!!
Today is the birthday of Karen from Crafty Bunch so I had a play with a new product!
I've used a thinlit die from Stampin' Up! that forms a flip card.
This is the front of the card that I've made using Crisp Cantaloupe card from SU and lots of goodies from the recent sale-a-bration offers.
The front part of the card is embossed with an embossing folder and a bit of the gorgeous ruffle ribbon added to it, the circle is decorated with some circle framelit dies and a stamp from the Petal Parade set in Summer Starfruit to match the paper that I've used.
I cut the card a bit longer than the template to give an additional flap to the card.
This shows the inside - also decorated with the paper and a panel added for message writing with a sneaky stamp from the Label Love set.
Inner circle decorated with more circles, another flower from the stamp set and butterflies from Papillon Potpourri set added to both sides to finish.

I actually had a few days off from crafting at the weekend (deliberately to start with, followed by another couple because of a mutant migraine!!).
Graeme's race on Friday was moved to the Olympic velodrome in London so we had a quick break in the big smoke!
A very impressive building and much better lit on the inside than the couple of others we frequent!
You can just see lots of passers-by looking in too, something you can't do at Newport or Manchester.
The racing was quite impressive, maybe not so much for Graeme and his chums as one or two Olympic athletes and some European pros are rather tough competition - but a pretty good workout and good viewing for everyone else.
We then stayed in Greenwich overnight as there was meant to be more racing the next day - but after Fridays leg-breakers cycling was not on the agenda any more!
As we were just round the corner from the Cutty Sark we had a look round there which was interesting - I'd only ever seen it on the tv before (generally with marathon runners going by).
The hotel was also right next to the National Maritime Museum (at the bottom of the hill in this pic) which is on the edge of Greenwich Park so we had a look round this too - a great museum if you are in the area.
Fuelled by several refreshment stops we then also walked through the park to outside the Royal Observatory and this was the great view - the O2, Canary Wharf, the gherkin, shard and Olympic park could all be seen from this spot.
Would of loved to go in the observatory too but had read rather a lot of info already and it was packed with people so we had another refuelling stop before the journey back.
Another stamp I came across from my local establishment was this cute panda, it was less than £3.50 and came with 3 sentiments and an additional little butterfly stamp - bargain.
It is an unmounted set from Crafter's Companion called 'Bamboo'.
I've used Copics C5, 7 & 9 for the 'black' and could of coloured these all day too.
The flower is also ideal for a spot of colouring and because I was quilling too I've added a 3mm fringed flower to the middle which fitted perfectly.
I've added some quilled solid coils in the corners to tie in with the flower centre and finish the card.
The pic is rather focused on the quilled flower, sorry about that - still struggling a tad with my scanner!
